Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to ride the Mojave Road?
Prime season is mid-October through mid-April, when the desert is cool. That said, we’ve ridden the Mojave Road to Laughlin at night under a full moon in August, and we’d do it again.
Do I need a street-legal bike?
Yes, any route through the Mojave National Preserve requires a plated bike. Our KTM EXC fleet is available if you need one.
Do I need to bring my own bike or Jeep?
Nope. Most riders bring their own, but you can ride one of our KTM EXCs, rent a Jeep Wrangler at the airport, or rent an ADV through our partners at MotoQuest.
What experience level do I need?
Every trip is tailored to your group. We adjust the route and technical difficulty to fit beginners, experts, or a mix of both.
How big are the groups?
Our signature adventure is priced for crews of 4 to 8 riders. Have a different number? Let’s talk.
What does all-inclusive cover?
Food, drinks, gas, chase trucks, hotel rooms, trail tools and parts, team meals, plus T-shirts and stickers. Basically, everything but your riding gear.
Which airport should I fly into?
Ontario International (ONT) is about 90 minutes from base camp. Harry Reid International (LAS) in Las Vegas is about 2 hours.
Do you run set tour dates?
No. We’re a custom adventure service, so we build the itinerary around your dates, destinations and appetite for adventure.
